Jara Money ("Jara", "we", "us") is a remittance rate comparison platform at jara.money. We help users compare exchange rates and fees from money transfer providers. We are not a money transfer service and do not process, handle, or facilitate any financial transactions.

2. What We Collect

Jara is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or payment information through the website.

Analytics Data (with your consent)

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This may include:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring website or search terms

Server Logs

Our hosting provider (Fly.io) automatically collects standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. These are used for security and debugging purposes only.

Affiliate Links: When you click through to a provider (e.g. Wise, Remitly), you leave our site and are subject to that provider's privacy policy. We may earn a commission from these referrals at no extra cost to you.

6. Affiliate Disclosure

Jara earns commissions when users click through to provider websites and complete transfers. This does not affect the rates displayed or the order in which providers are ranked. We always rank providers by how much your recipient receives.

7. Data Retention

• Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days, then automatically deleted.
• Analytics data: Retained as per Google Analytics default settings (14 months).
• Consent preference: Stored in your browser's local storage until you clear it.
